As a member of the MTG Finance subreddit pointed out last month, the whole creature type seems to be getting a lot more support of late
My logic for including both is simply that they are both so strong, noth as cards and within this archetype, they should comfortably win almost all games in which they are not dealt with reasonably promptly making a potential dead card in hand far less of an issue
Primarily, newer sets are more available and generally less expensive than older sets
Kaito is the best Planeswalker seeing play at the moment (though Elspeth, Storm Slayer is lurking in the shadows) and should continue to see play after rotation
After that point, a gust of wind removing your hat or blowing a new hat onto your head won't change which blockers have already legally been declared
You can morph it for three and then unmorph for five so it might be good enough but I found it intriguing enough to consider
