There are other infinite combos you can pull off with Iron-Spider, specifically if you can turn some other infinite combo cards, like Scurry Oak, into artifact creatures, but many of these are too complex to try and pull off
While well often play it as a two-mana 1/1, were also going to get some extra value later in the game, jump-starting it as a 2/2 or a 3/3 (for four or six mana)
It also acts as a sacrifice outlet in the command zone, which makes for some sweet infinite combos if youre looking to jump into high-power or even cEDH territory
Though that is of course a significant amount of money for a single card, its a very far cry from the 10k+ of its most expensive version
Theyre also dirt cheap and feel good to play, which is always a plus
