The incidental Scry you get doesnt hurt either Three mana for a stun counter and a +1/+1 counter all on its own would be a card that is pretty close to playable, and the fact this adds a counter to every tap effect definitely makes this intriguing

At $40, Rhystic Study is not cheap, and so far this new version has not impacted the price whatsoever (in fact, in the last two months it has gained a tiny bit of value, not lost any)
