Ramp As befits the mad science colors, blue and red have some interesting ways of ramping out some big-mana spells
So our plan for the deck is to focus on empowering the deck with a few more creatures that can make the most out of our board states, while also upping the baseline of card draw so that we can have an easier time throughout the game
One of my favorite Sinkhole decks of all-time was Chris Pikulas Deadguy Ale, a B/W land destruction deck with an old-school vibe to it
You can set up these triggers however you like, so if you want to have a few token Merfolk you have lying around try and power through your lands you can, while giving Hakbal and your other creatures the +1/+1 counter when you explore a nonland card
It enters the battlefield, exiles a key nonland card from the opponents hand, and presents an evasive threat with flying and lifelink
Other than the effects certain mechanics have, most of a cards functionality and intention are clearly stated in its description
