Fifth Edition rules changed how spells and mana worked, allowing players to declare spells, then pay any associated costs
You can abuse the fact that it has an enter trigger by bouncing it to your hand with Crystal Shard or Erratic Portal and cast it again, and you can double up on its trigger with Virtue of Knowledge, Reflections of Littjara, and Molten Echoes
It's very strong in decks that need to dig, fill up the graveyard, want to force foes to discard, and loads more
Pokmon that "only have 1-energy attacks" These are common among Basic Pokmon, but since they can be taken immediately on the turn they enter the field if you have that type of energy, the strategic depth is low, so I don't really recommend them
When you roll the chaos icon on the planar die, you get to untap all creatures that attacked this turn, giving you an additional combat step and extra main phase
All things considered, this card might not be a bad choice, but there are many other powerful cards, so it's better to give it some thought
