Besides the rather weak gameplay effect (if the player had creatures in the first place, then they would block the Necrite with it), I'm not sure what the 'sacrificial' bit is supposed to represent here

This all happens at instant speed so unless you have a way to stop Protean Hulk's effect from resolving, everyone loses
