A transforming double-faced card enters the battlefield with its front face up by default, unless a spell or ability instructs you to put it onto the battlefield transformed or you cast it transformed, in which case it enters with its back face up
It's also notable that the effect only applies when creatures on the battlefield are exiled - it's no use exiling creature cards from hands or graveyards, which means my first instinct of pairing this guy with various iterations of the MTG planeswalker Ashiok won't work
For starters, Delighted Halfling is able to generate any color of mana which is always incredibly useful
