It generates two treasure tokens whenever you deal combat damage to an opposing player, but for one mana, it also lets you sacrifice treasure tokens to reduce a target creature's power and toughness by that amount
To further bolster the deck's attacking potential, Celebi Ex and Mew Ex are included
Just about every iteration of this effect has been great (Swords to Plowshares, Path to Exile, Declaration in Stone), so theres no reason to doubt Fateful Absence will be good as well

I like that it has the ability to do damage to many Pokemon at once with Chop Up but I don't like that fact that in order to do 50 damage you have to put three energy cards on a basic Pokemon, and most Pokemon can do at least 60 damage for three energy cards, so Gallade is weak here
+1/+0 and first strike does make almost any creature into a decent attacker, but the fact this is irrelevant on your opponent's turn is a bummer
