Better still, the way to prepare Tam, Observant Sequencer, is via landfall , and the prepare spell, Deep Sight, only costs one green and one blue mana, so it's entirely feasible that you could cast this multiple times per turn when paired with land fetch spells and lands like Fabled Passage

Putting in work to get a 1/1 flier every turn just doesn't cut it in Standard, Commander, or really anywhere else where uncommons aren't a key feature of the format

You could even try it alongside Embiggen as a chunky threat, since its four different creature types will turn it into a +5/+5 buff for one mana

This is just a lot of card advantage in one simple package and an excellent build-around for kavu
