Using mana creatures like Channeler Initiate or Drover of the Mighty is advantageous in that you can use it to cast non-Dinosaur cards quickly as well
Whether through sacrificing creatures, self-milling, or discarding cards Graveyard decks often care about the number of cards in one's graveyard, and can often use recursion spells or even their commander, to easily access the cards within the graveyard
You can expert merfolk galore, but also some more unusual fantasy races like puffer fish people, penguin people, crab men, walrus women, and something that I would swear was an underwater sliver, if it didn't have the wrong number of limbs
