What I find interesting regarding the different executions in Outlaws of Thunder Junction alone is that we see cards that are cheaper to plot than to just cast from your hand, cards with the cost to plot as to cast normally, and cards that cost more mana to plot
The second factor, rarity, is also multifaceted
You get to play a land each turn, but there are no limits to how many artifacts we can play in a given turn
Locations passively accrue lore at the start of every turn, and characters can enter them to receive some sort of benefit
Over the years, the base stats have changed on creatures with firebreathing, but none have been at the low point that we saw with Blistering Dieflyn
This queue will be up at least until rotation this September while we monitor how interest and play volume hold up for the format
