More mana means more effectsjust like how in Final Fantasy a lot of magic spells have three evolutionary steps: their base form, a more potent version of that form with the suffix -ara, and then its most powerful form with the suffix -aga
The way challenging works is a ready (untapped) character exerts and chooses an opposing exerted character to challenge, and then both cards compare their strength (attack) and willpower (defense) values to each other (meaning the attacker automatically gets hit back by the defender)
Each has its own unique personality, and every glimmer fits into one (or two) of the inks
