1 The Balrog of Moria
I personally liked the rural charm of Lorwyn and Shadowmoor, and wouldnt even mind a return to Ulgrotha (since I wasnt playing during Homelands and didnt get a real feel for the setting)
Every creature in the deck is a giant, and even three of the non-creature spells, Feudkiller's Verdict, Favor of the Mighty, and Crush Underfoot have the giant subtype thanks to their tribal card type
Simply play this on turn one, then drop Sigardas Aid and then Colossus Hammer on turn two and youre once again swinging for 11 damage straight away
If a card that has mutate also has flash, like Pouncing Shoreshark, you can flash it in for its mutate cost since its an alternate casting cost rather than an activated ability
Sarkhan, Dragon Ascendant focuses more on value, spitting out a Treasure token if you behold a dragon and growing bigger every time one hits your board
