In the end, Dragons of Tarkir actually increased in value to the point where it was above average, as people figured out that a lot of the casual-looking mythics (like the Dragonlord cycle) were actually very strong in constructed
While artifact hate is nothing new - Shatterstorm, Fracturing Gust, Stony Silence, and many more have been legal for quite some time - there's a level of efficiency in Meltdown that makes it perhaps the best option Modern has ever had
