Unlike most Pokemon that have a handful of notable cards spread across three decades, Pikachu has been printed in virtually every set, every promotional campaign, and every special collaboration the Pokemon Company has ever produced
That makes Ichor Wellspring and Mycosynth Wellspring great packages if you can regularly get both halves of the card
There is the official Pokmon Trading Card Database, which will help you spot any text or stat differences, but isn't great for differentiating colors (since your monitor may not precisely match the colors a printed card would appear in your room), and of course it can't help you with determining the feel of the card
But its not the best choice for every card in your binder
