Ultimately, the goal behind this change is to make opening packs more exciting, with even more beautiful cards to hunt for and a greater opportunity to find the special Epic quality cards, as they are less rare than the current Enchanted type
Theres already a lot that we know is going to be in the set (battles, the team-up legendary creatures, etc.), and I just dont think that the Eldrazi could mechanically fit into everything else going on without feeling like a disappointment
