British - WWI - 1914-15 Medal Trio to Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry - KIA - Hobart In one of the photos1914 15 Star, British War Medal, WWI Victory Medal (19148 Pte. H. C. Hobart, D. of Corn. L. I.) Herbert Charles Hobart disembarked in France with the 1st Battalion Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry on 13 July 1915. He served with the battalion until being killed in action on 18 April 1917 during the Battle of Arras. Having no known grave, he is commemorated on the Arras Memorial.
