Challi Carpet Chollo Size:180cm x 230cm fabric made from the undyedchollo (Ladakhi) dice This carpet is made from hand spun sheep wool yarn. It is woven in the traditional Changthang style, on a portable backstrap loom characteristic for the nomadic communities. This type of carpet is called "Challi" and traditionally used as an outside blanket to dry barley on. It is a flat weave and approximately 4mm thick.
