Designed approximately around 1690 by Papin the design was a rudimentary strong and heavy metal and wood square box that used an air pump to achieve buoyancy

His attempts at submersibles were overshadowed by his invention of the "steam digester” which developed into the modern day pressure cooker

Levon Dalytes Calm Water 9” x 12"Guy Cranston Steel, paint, wood, wire 7. 5" x 8" x 4" Yellow Cardinal This one of a kind bird is created from a block of pine, carved into shape, then base painted. Guy then makes and inserts each wire feather one at a time by hand. The legs are fashioned from rolled steel and painted to suit each sculpture. The finishing touch is the addition of Guy's signature bird band.
