Two lane wooden overpass - HO structures “Photo’ directions make each stepMonroe Models County Road Bridge is a model of a two lane bridge over the Great Northern Railway near Willmar. Similar wooden trestle style overpasses were common all along the GN from 1900 or so, to and beyond the merger. Beginning in the 1950s, wooden road bridges were replaced with concrete and steel structures. This will be an impressive structure on your railroad. It is tall enough to clear double stack equipment and wide enough for two tracks.
