the odds are that the combination of low light and heavy fertilizer is causing leggy growth

But it does grow best when watered regularly

Use any houseplant fertilizer and be sure to follow the instructions on the product packaging

No need to re-pot or up-pot until crowding the pot

Flowers are red (see pic) and emerge from maroon calyxes. As is common in this genus, it tolerates some dryness and prefers lower light but can handle bright morning afternoon light. No direct mid day light! Referred to also as the Twisted lipstick plant.
