With an organic, from the Earth feel, this Gourd Vase fuses modernity with tradition. The gourd design is a form that Bens grandfather made as well. The curvature of the vase provides a lovely accent for the wood fired micro crystal growth. The Nebular Purple resulted from experimenting with cobalt glazes fired inside the wood kiln atmosphere.
