While I don't have much imagination when it comes to creating new cards, I am always interested in checking out what others have come up with

In an eight-player booster draft, you have seven potential opponents and should be thinking about how your deck will stack up relative to theirs

Again, this might be a bit too much if youre diving into Magic completely new: you wont know what makes a good deck work, or what cards synergize nicely, and you wont really get a good grasp of learning how to play if you build an ineffective deck
